FELICIA PALMER, M.S. Clinical Trainee (she/her)
Felicia is a Clinical Trainee at Maplewood Psychology who enjoys working with adolescents and adults of all ages.
She is experienced with individual, family, and group therapy. Settings where she has worked include intensive outpatient hospital, residential facilities addressing dual diagnosis/substance abuse, private clinics, and schools. Therapy methods she uses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT); Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT); and Art, Play, and Dance Therapy.
Felicia believes that building a trusting therapy relationship is key for client success inside and outside of the therapy room. She is passionate about normalizing and destigmatizing mental health care and providing quality mental health care for all.
Felicia has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, as well as a Master of Science degree in Psychology. She is currently working toward her LPCC licensure. In her free time, Felicia enjoys dancing, spending time with her family, exercising, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
